Easter Sunday's Sermon
The Relationship
Matthew 28:5-7
What would you think if you went to a funeral, looked in the coffin only to see that it was empty! Let’s take that another step, what if you were told that he had risen from the dead and walked out of the building! What emotions would you be feeling and expressing. Chances are those emotions would be like those of the women who came to prepare the body of Jesus Christ. Confusion, fear, concern, these would likely be close to the top of the list. But that’s exactly what happen at the tomb of Jesus Christ! He got up and left His tomb and was made once again alive! Can you imagine the expression on the faces of those who will see the uncovered graves of the dead in Christ who will rise up to be with Him in glory! Today my prayer is that you will not be one of the ones looking but one of those ascending!
I invite you to join us for Easter Sunday! We have a SonRise service at 7:30AM followed by a breakfast, Sunday School, and our worship service. Each has a different sermon, communion, and presentation. You'll be greeted by a warm and friendly community of believers, and as you delve into the scriptures, we'll assist you in understanding their relevance to your life and today's society.
