John Boubel, Senior Pastor of Rolling Oaks Baptist Church
Sunday's Sermon
Why God Gives Us Gifts!
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-19
God gives every Christian at least one spiritual gift! Now, that does not mean that you can claim flying a plane as a spiritual gift, but it does mean that you may have the gift of care, concern, understanding, teaching, singing, or even more than on spiritual gift. These gifts are given in order to bring growth and unity into the church. Yes, you can and should also use these gifts outside the church, you probably already do and don’t know it. This is why you may be good at some things and not so good at others. Let’s see in today’s sermon.
God has brought together those of us who love Him and love lost souls in order to reach our world for Christ. To reach our world for Jesus, we must have a passion, an overwhelming desire to see persons come to a saving knowledge of the Lord. It's important that we understand the importance of being connected to the vine as branches.
Join us this Sunday for Small Group Bible Studies at 9:30 AM, followed by Worship Service at 10:45 AM! You'll be greeted by a warm and friendly community of believers, and as you delve into the scriptures, we'll assist you in understanding their relevance to your life and today's society.
